Best of the Best; Memories to Remember

People live to make memories. They do things to be reminded, to be told to their scion, and to be learnt by them and by others. People do different things, from the worst' to the best', so do we. This time, I'd like to review some of my best memories I've made in the past. It's kind of impressive and unforgetable ones. Well, I'd like to tell you about my six months in Kuala Lumpur.

6 Months Living in Kuala Lumpur

I had a chance that I've never expected before, that it's living in another country. It's Malaysia. Although the culture is not so different from Indonesia, but it's much nicer there. In March, 2015 if I'm not mistaken, I had an opportunity to held my internship in Impiana KLCC Hotel, Malaysia for 6 months. I had so much precious time there. I love living there. The people, enviroment, facility, and life style are all really nice. The best part is, it's really easy to get to one place to another, there. The public transportations are really well-managed, so we don't have so many difficulties to get somewhere. The weather is also very firendly to us going for a walk.

I lived inside the hotel when I was in Malaysia, where it was a very strategic place. We got Twin Tower, Suria KLCC Mall and KLCC Lake and Park accross the hotel, by 10 minutes we can get there on foot. Next to the hotel there is a bridge that lead us eihter to Suria KLCC or to Pavilion Shopping Mall and Bukit Bintang. Those were my favorit places to go, because it's so close by the hotel.

During internship, I met many people from many different countries. I worked with Malaysians, Chinese, Dutchmen, Philipinos, and Hindi people. I got so many new things to learn. Also they treated me really well. I got one story, it's happened in the 3rd month of the internship, if I'm not mistaken. It was Ramadhan, the restaurant has been so busy that time because it got a bunch of reservations every evening for the open fasting buffet. They need many additional workers to help on the service, so they hired some part-timers and also some of the morning staffs were got to stayback.

Well, that time I was one of the morning staff in the restaurant. The bar captain told me that my restaurant manager need me to stay until evening, because we lack of staffs. I, who actually was in my period, was having a hard time that day. I got mood swing, you know girls in period oftenly got it. So, I refuse to stay. I told my bar captain that I didn't want to stay even if they pay me per-hour. They were still trying to pursuade me, but I really didn't want to stay. Do you know what I did so they allow me to go back? I cried. Hahaha. It was so embarassing. I went to my restaurant manager directly and told him that I didn't want to stay. I was trying not to cry, but in fact I was crying quiet loudly in front of my manager and the other staffs. He couldn't say anything but 'Okay. Go back and take a rest.' hahaha. He assumed that I wasn't feeling so well. It was the most embarassing moment ever. I didn't know why I was crying, it just happened like that.

Well, I think Malaysia is probably the best place I've ever lived in until now. If you have any experience to share, go ahead and share it. Perhaps you can inspire other people to share theirs.
